Do you have a physical store and what are your opening hours?
Yes, we do! Visit our store in Tiong Bahru at 58 Seng Poh Road #01-21 Singapore 160058 (Beside 7-11). We are open daily from 9am to 5.30pm!
Can I exchange my item if it doesn't fit?
Yes, certainly! You can do an exchange in our store within 14 days of receiving your order. Simply bring along the item with its tag intact, and your order number (e-mail) for the exchange.
*Please note that sale items are not exchangeable.

What if I can't make it to your store to do the exchange?
Typically, exchanges are done in store. However, we do understand that it might be difficult to drop by.
In this case, you can send the piece back to us using a local courier service or registered mail and provide us with the tracking number once you’ve done so. However, please note that we cannot be responsible for any items lost in transit.
Upon receiving the item and checking, we will issue you store credits for the item, and you can use it to check out the item that you wish to change it to. The store credits will be valid for 1 month.

*We highly recommend doing your exchange in store as our staff will be able to assist you in finding the right fit. Exchanges are only allowed once on each order.
How much does alteration cost?
Alteration charges start from $3 for simple alterations such as length changes. For more intricate works, kindly speak to our seamstress and she would be able to provide you with a quote and lead time.
Do note that we only do alterations on pieces purchased from our store.
Is the seamstress available every day?
No, she is typically off on Thursdays and Sundays. However, kindly give our store a call at +65 6227 2896 to check if she's in before making your way down!
I received a wrong item/ an item with a defect. What should I do?
We sincerely apologise for the mistake/ defect. Kindly drop us an e-mail at customer@firststitch.co with pictures of the item and our team will get back to you with instructions on how we can exchange it.
In the meantime, kindly do not remove the tags on the clothing and do not wash them.
Do you ship overseas?
Yes, for orders to Malaysia, you can place your order directly on our website.
For all other countries, kindly drop us an e-mail at customer@firststitch.co with the items that you wish to purchase and we would be able to provide a custom quote for the shipping fees.
Do note that any import duties occurring in the destination country has to be paid for by the customer.
Does the exchange policy apply to overseas orders?
We are sorry that we are unable to facilitate exchanges for overseas orders at this moment. We do however ensure that we check each piece carefully before shipping them out to avoid sending you a piece with any defects.

Do all CNY collections come with styles for the whole family?
All in-house print and t-shirt collections come with styles for the whole family!
Are all CNY items available for try-on in store?
Yes, they are! All items from our latest CNY 2026 launches (kids and menswear included) are available to try on at our Tiong Bahru store.
Unfortunately, due to space constraint, we are unable to display some of the previous basics collections. We seek your kind understanding on this.
How can we check the store stock availability?
Our in-store and online availability is the same. If you find an item in stock on our website, it will also be in stock at our store! If the item is out of stock on our website, it is also out of stock at our store.
Will there be restocks of the sold out items?
We will not be restocking any of the CNY 2026 items.
We might restock certain staple pieces (e.g. plain tops, jeans, basic bottoms). If you have any specific items you're looking for, drop us a message at customer@firststitch.co and we'll check on it for you!
I bought an item as a gift. I want to remove the price but worry that the receiver might need to exchange sizes. What should I do?
Kindly do not cut the tag off. Once the tag is removed, the item will not be eligible for exchanges. We recommend that you paste a plain sticker over the price on the tag such that your receiver would not see it directly.

Yes we do! You can find our gift cards HERE!
A digital Gift card will be sent to your e-mail within 24 hours of purchase and each gift card is valid for 1 year from the date of purchase.
